Welcome to the Children's Workshop!
The Children’s Workshop is a licensed, non-profit, cooperative preschool* serving three year old and Pre-K children. We are located in the Little Red School House, 445 School Street, North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The schoolhouse, originally the Davisville School, was built in 1867.
The children enjoy a highly creative and social setting preparing them for kindergarten. As a cooperative environment, parents serve an active role in the education of their children and assist in all aspects of the school’s operations.
The Children’s Workshop employs one full–timeteacher who employs a unique curriculum with an oldf ashioned approach. Kindness, compassion and cultural diversity are just some of the themes that have been woven into the fabric of this preschool.
